All the photographs are between 1200 pixels and 1500 pixels on their longest side, so wish give you first-class prints up to 8" x 10" from a photograph lab, or you can print them letter (A4) size from your own printer for art reference and educational projects.

The images are besides suitable for use in brochures, magazines, or advertising material and wish print simply about 5" x 3" at 300dpi and double that at 150dpi.

Why Images on Virtual CD?

The contents of the CD (images, index page, captions and licence), instead of being delivered on a physical disk, are delivered over the Computer network and saved to your computer's hard-drive. Of course, you can then copy the contents on to a CD or DVD. In fact, we recommend you do that as a way of backing up your images; alternatively, you should back them up on an external drive.

Please note - to avoid any confusion - the images on the Virtual CDs are in digital format and are NOT photographic prints. If you want prints, you'll need to have these ready-made by your local photograph lab.
