"With over twenty years of resistance training behind me, I am always keen to explore the possibilities for
improving my physique.  About two years ago, I started to engage in speech with Gavin (through
Jason Rickaby’s natural bodybuilding forum on www.uk-muscle.com) simply about the possibility of refinement my
approach to training.  Before then, I had always used a conventional split programme, training each
body part every 5-7 days.  Gavin introduced me to the idea of increasing training frequency so that it
might be possible to train each body part at least every 72 hours, through variations of an upper/lower
body split programme.  As shortly as I started to activity with this 2-on/1-off programme, with accrued
volume of sets across a full range of exercises, I detected appreciable improvements in my condition and
in the quality and size of each muscle group trained.  This meant I was able to reinstate the anabolic
