People who have see my book tell me that they were not aware of what was holding them back. The book ready-made them aware of the problems, and gave them the tools to build a happier life. A short story from the book

Can you identify with the egg?

An Egg Again

When I was little I knew I was an egg and I thought it was okay to be an egg. Eggs are fragile. They have feelings and can get sad and lonely and they hurt sometimes. They besides get hugs and they can let another folk show they care just about them. Eggs get a lot of nice stuff. It’s easy to be an egg once you are little because folk want you to be an egg. But as I grew older I began to notice that most adults acted as if they were rocks.

People would-be do things to each another that should have hurt them, or frightened them, but rocks don’t seem to feel things. Rocks appeared to be safer than eggs. So I thought the whole situation over and distinct to be a rock too. Cipher ready-made me a rock. I distinct to be a rock because I wanted to feel safe.

As shortly as I distinct to be a rock folk were less gentle with me but I thought it was okay because rocks can take much abuse than eggs can. After being a rock for years, I began to drink alcohol, overeat, gamble, use drugs, etc., so I would-be feel better and it worked for a while, but not for long.

Now I have distinct that I don’t want to be a rock any longer but I am afraid that if I let everyone cognize I am an egg person wish break me. At least I would-be like to be an egg once I want to and a rock once I have to protect myself. I want to be an egg once again but 1st I would-be like to be able to tell the difference between folk who break eggs and folk who don’t. I besides need a safe place to practice being an egg again. I hope this group can be a safe place to practice being an egg again. I need all the help I can get to discover to be an egg again.

Testimonials

When I see the book the Path of Courage, I saw myself in this book. My life needful to change, but I was afraid of the unknown. After reading the book I was able to see the choices I had in my life and why I always chose the wrong partner. I saw how I had put my own life in such a mess. One of the biggest changes for me was learning to take control of everything I did, instead of becoming co-dependent on folk and places that gave me no courageousness or no tools to be who I actually was. Once I finally started caring for myself my life started to get better. At that point I was able to take the tools I knowing in this book and use them to do my life the way I wanted it to be. I would-be recommend this book for folk who would-be like to have a better life, but are afraid to change.
