As a studio based full time professional photographer, I have over the years see a immense figure of books that
promise to give you a "unique" insight into photography and techniques. Sadly galore are lacking in the quality
department and only put out re-hashed information. Gratuitous to say there are a lot of books out there that are not
worth disbursement the money on. Once
I 1st purchased Malcolm Boone's Sitting Private secrets Vol. 1 I fully expected it to be
just another.
To my surprise, I found it full of superb techniques, was like an expert written and gave a unique way of visualising poses. It allowed me to re-visit my training and look at sitting subjects from a several angle. This has improved my technique and accrued my skills base, which can only benefit my clients and increase my turnover. Simply goes to show you can "teach an old dog new tricks". Thanks Malcolm, worth every penny. A nice investment for any person looking at up their sitting skills and techniques.

Hi Malcolm,
Just once I thought I knew it all. After a lot of deliberation and reluctance to buying off the net rather than a bound book from a walk in bookshop, I bought your Sitting Private secrets Vol 1 and was truly astonied at the speed in which it arrived on my email, about immediately, and the analytical and diagramatic contents. To discover what you provide in this Volume from a photographic school in Australia would-be cost about $400-$800 in fees, and then I doubt they would-be cover the topics you have in Sitting Private secret Vol 1.
You are surely on a winner here Malcolm, giving the full-fledged and novice lensman an entirely new way of looking at the human body. It was money well spent, and usually it is easier to get money out of a beggar than it is to get money out of me.
Thanks,
Bill Griffith, Photojournalist, State capital Australia.

Malcolm's book is a no nonsense manual to sitting a model. The book goes into great detail, not only sitting the body but even as foot and hand placement and what a immense difference this makes! I particularly likeable the idea of visualizing my model as a silhouette - this takes away the distrs of everything except the form. Simple diagrams and straightforward language do it easy for non-techies like me to understand clearly.
My 1st assignment AFTER reading the book showed a immense improvement and the young lady was excited with her portraits - thanks Malcolm.
BTW - not only is it useful for photographers but a MUST See for any aspiring models.

I extremely recommend this Sitting Private secrets Volume 1. It teaches the lensman how to pose every aspect of the subject from their head to their toes. Before I see the book I could only pose models with model pose cards, but now I can move up with my own sitting ideas. I am really glad I bought the book and look forward to buying volume 2.

Hello,
I am a student lensman and I am absolutely astonied by how more I knowing from your book. I purchased it the day it came out! I was so excited I couldn't wait for the file to download. Once I opened it up and see it, I was floored.
I take photography classes and you simplified everything that I needful to know. The images helped to bring it all together. The most important thing that I knowing from your book is that a body is a silhouette, if you finish focusing on article of clothing and see lines then you can take a better picture. Fantastic work, I appreciate your dedication to complete this book.
Sincerely,
Rena Wright

I'm a novice/amateur lensman and I feel I have been through a immense learning experience after reading your book. I have found in the past that I would-be become 'stuck' for the next pose for my model, and I have found your book improbably helpful.
I have recently taken several photographs in which my model looks amazing, and I've been able to give good, precise manual to her (at last I'm beginning to sound like I cognize what I'm talking about!)
Thanks so more for a great product. It was well worth the money I spent.

I have found the way I approach a session has now changed, with more forethought and use of your diagrams and rough sketches to help direct the subject. Devising me feel more of a reasonably confident director than person trying to communicate without more success.
My girl tends to be my 'guinea pig' more often than not once trying thing new and she summed it up better than I could - as she no longer finds sitting difficult or like a game of twister that has gone wrong.
Best Regards
