It may seem kind of amusing at times, however it is no riant matter. The  story  I'm simply about to tell had a profound impact on my life which is directly related to my personal passion for exciting travel experiences and living life to the fullest. Tragic Tale Of Eileen The Vacation Carryover Queen

Eileen (not her real name) was my boss for galore years at my former corporate job. Eileen was extremely educated, booming and talented! She was extremely ambitious with a relentless driving and determination that carried her to a high position of leadership inside a remarkably short time. However,  Eileen besides had a dark side. Without going into specific details, I will tell you that Eileen's personal life was a complete mess. It was a litany of failures - the exact opposite of her life as a dynamic up mobile corporate executive.

In an attempt to neutralize the pain of her personal life, Eileen immersed herself in work. She ravenously accepted any and every project she could get her hands on. Eileen would-be habitually put in  10 - 12 hour days at the office. On top of that....

• Eileen worked during her commute to work!
• Eileen worked during her commute from work!
• Eileen worked at home!
• Eileen worked during lunch!
• Eileen worked on weekends!
• Eileen worked on holidays!

Eileen Was the Epitome Of A Work-A-Holic!!!

Eileen's life was the job and the job was her life. She had stopped-up taking vacation time pretty shortly after I started working with her. As the years rolled by, her vacation carryover days unbroken pile up.  Eileen justified  renunciation vacation as being a noble act of self-sacrifice for the nice of the the firm. She wore each one of her vacation carryover days as a badge of honor and deluded herself into to basic cognitive process that she was simply too important to go on vacation because the firm could not afford to be without her for one day! Out of curiosity I distinct to find out exactly how galore carryover days Eileen had. I was able to pull several strings with the personnel department to learn that Eileen had accumulated well over ....

100 Carryover Days!

Eileen's irrational disregard for vacation rubbed off on myself and another staff members. For example, one day I requested a two week vacation and these are the exact words of Eileen's response:

"I’d be afraid to take a two week vacation. If the firm can operate for two weeks without me then it shows that I am not needed."

I was shocked. I don't believe that Eileen intended for that statement to be a direct threat, but it sure felt like it.  I detected Eileen's not so subtle hint loud and clear.  She placed no s in vacation for herself nor her staff members. I was afraid she would-be react negatively if I took a long vacation. Since she was in control of my purse strings, in terms of wage increases and bonuses, I did not want to get on her “bad side” of course. I  ne'er did take that two week vacation. The "vacations" that I did  take were always short  and not really enjoyable.

To do matters worse, after galore years of being subject to Eileen's influence, I started to give up on the idea of vacation wholly and adopt her insane "work ethic" to the hurt of my personal life. The situation came to a critical point one day when my poor married woman virtually begged me to take her on a vacation trip and I refused by telling her that my activity schedule would-be not allow it. I had become wedded to my job. This was a terrible situation that lasted far too long. Then apparently out of nowhere, tragedy struck!

 Eileen Was Diagnosed With A Fatal Form Of Cancer!

The sadness, horror and irony of this situation was truly devastating. The sacrifice Eileen ready-made for her "successful career" was all for nothing. Over the years I literally witnessed  the deterioration of an intelligent and vivacious individual. I cognize that Eileen's cancer diagnoses caused her to regret past decisions regarding her personal life. However it was too late for her to do a change. Her time had virtually run out

Poor Eileen Could Not Take Her Vacation Days To The Grave

Eileen's tragedy and the dire state of my situation smitten me in the face like a brick. I new that if I remained "married to my job" the outcome would-be not be good.  My personal life was suffering needlessly and I needful to do a dramatic change ASAP! I distinct to leave the corporate earth forever and become the master of my own destiny through my own business. My goal not was only to be booming financially, but to besides be in a position to enjoy the fruits of my success. It was not easy at first, but I am blessed and fortunate to have achieved this because Eileen's tragedy clearly incontestable that...

Life Is Too Short To Be Taken For Granted!

This is the lesson I learned. What nice is wealth or success if you can't enjoy it? If there is thing important you will to accomplish like:

• Having a family
• Taking your dream vacation
• Starting a Business
• Buying a bigger home

The right time to start taking focused s to accomplish you goals is TODAY! Tomorrow is not bonded as Eileen sadly discovered.

For me, enjoying my success is manifested in the time freedom I now have to spend time with my family and  enjoy luxury travel to do up for the vacation opportunities I lost during my time in the corporate world. Now you should be able to fully understand my inspiration for writing this letter and why I am so ablaze simply about travel. I am not alone either!
