It
all starts with the 1st one.

You want your hearing to
be heightened, and your vision hyper
focused, so you pay attention to your threat.
But once
you’re acquiring a
haircut, or in line at the grocery
store, or in traffic, and there’s no REAL threat, you don’t want or
need any of
that!
In fact, all it does is
scare you and do you
uncomfortable. Your
heart pounds for apparently no reason. You
feel like
you’re losing control of your body as the hormones surge through your
muscle. Your vision
gets bleary and your
palms sweat, thoughts race out of control through your head…
But you’re devising a immense mistake!
It
isn’t your
fault… you just didn’t cognize the WHOLE truth…
You probably already cognize on a logical level that you’re not
in any real danger from your anxiety.
But I besides cognize how
little that means once
you’re actually going through an anxiety attack.
See, your response is an
instinctual one, as we’ve talked
about. You’re not
reacting on a
rational, logical level, like you do once
person asks you if you want several iced tea. You don’t
analyze the
situation, sedately
thinking things like, “Am I thirsty? Do I want tea or
soda? Possibly a lemon wedge…”
You
don’t actually THINK at
all, at least not in the way you usually do. You just REACT based on thousands
of years of evolution.
It’s not your fault,
you’re not doing thing
wrong, and
you’re not weak, sick, or strange.
You’re not having a
logical res, it’s a res that’s
occurring on a deeper level, one more much difficult to control and
influence.
What you need to do is
to discover how to gain control over your
res on that another level.
All the logical thought
in the earth won’t do more of a
difference until you change the root of the problem.
Trying to talk yourself
out of a panic attack is like trying
to get the milk back in the glass once you’ve spilled it, it’s too late!
Don’t take my word for
it, think just about it. Haven’t
you already been telling yourself to just relax and calm down? Haven’t
you
tried to do the feelings that move out of obscurity
go away? Don’t you try and hold
yourself together? Haven’t
you detected
to “accept” it before?
How’s that worked out for
you?
It doesn’t activity because
you’re trying to teach the wrong
part of your mind.
You wouldn’t try and
teach a dog to fetch a stick by sitting
it down and explaining it to him would-be you?
The dog doesn’t think
like that. Dogs
don’t think logically.
It’s just as useless to try and overcome your anxiety exploitation logic.
It just won’t listen.
I’ve got several even as worse
news…
What
you need
to do is the exact OPPOSITE of what you’re probably doing now…you’re actually devising your anxiety WORSE!
Whenever you get anxious
or even as THINK just about a situation
that bothers you, your mind remembers your past anxiety attacks and how
you
responded. It
doesn’t have to try really hard to remember and get in touch with those feelings because the
res was
so strong it left quite an impression in your memory.
Remember how easy it was to recall your 1st attack and how vivid it is?
It does the wrong
connection between ANY anxiety and that
extreme res you had. It
assumes
that there must be a threat and it inevitably to protect you exploitation the fight
or
flight res we talked about.
Every time you get
anxious and have that same res, or
avoid the situation to escape the anxiety, you tell your mind that it’s
RIGHT
to consider it a dangerous threat that inevitably to be avoided.
You’re actually teaching
yourself to be afraid!
The more you teach it,
the better it gets at it and the
easier it is. Before
long, you can go
from calm to panic attack in no time at all, you’ve instructed yourself to
utilize
your fight or flight res well!
But
that’s not thing
you wanted to get good at, is it?
See, it’s just like how
you knowing to do anything, think
back to learning to ride a bike. ![]()
When you 1st started,
you had to actually pay attention to
balancing, steering, and all the another subtle adjustments that
you need
to do to stay upright. You
zig zagged down the pavement awkwardly as your mind knowing and keep everything you did
for futurity use.
Rather quickly, you don’t
need to try as hard to ride. Your
mind had all your past experiences keep up and it could look back and see what happened last time you ready-made a
correction or affected the wheel a certain way.
You don’t use conscious, logical thought any longer
to ride your bike like
you used to. You
don’t even as THINK just about it at all, your mind just Makes it.
Your anxiety is the same
way. Practice it
like you have been, and really quickly, your mind learns how to react by what you teach it and pretty shortly you
don’t even as think just about it anymore.
Your
mind KNOWS how to react, so it doesn’t bother you with questions, it just does it. You don’t even as get a select anymore.
Understand why
traditional learning won’t affect your
anxiety once you’ve got it?

react differently.

I used to be just like
you.
I used to have constant
anxiety, panic attacks, and wondered
if I’d ever be ‘normal’ again.
I was panicky the
answer was no.
I lost out on life, let
it pass me by, because I was just too afraid of my anxiety. I
avoided it
at all costs.
I took medications, and
they helped some, but as shortly as I stopped-up them, the anxiety came right back.

Why don’t more folk teach what I know? I‘m
not sure.
Like I said, I don’t spend too more time on
