Dear Reader,
At the age of fifty seven, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
I was not ill and had had no serious unwellness in my life to that point, so I was shocked. I was blasted and I was besides scared. Cancer kills peoples and I had cancer.
I was besides pretty ignorant just about the prostate. What it was and what it did.
I was not even as too clean on wherever it was! The prognosis from my doctor was not too encouraging, prostate cancer could not be cured but treatment was possible and could be booming once the condition was known at an early stage. My 1st thought was - I am going to die!
Once the diagnosing had been confirmed, I became caught up in the medical process machine. I was passed from specialists in urology, hematology and oncology, before undergoing a course of radiation therapy to hopefully, kill off the cancer cells in my prostate.
Radiotherapy takes it out of you, and during and after the course of treatment I spent a lot of time with no energy to do more except sit about. So I sat in front of my computer and searched the computer network for information just about prostate cancer, I felt I had to cognize what I was up against.
The result of all that research, plus my experience of the diagnosing and the consequent treatment is all in my book. This is information that can only be important once it is from person who has full-fledged it, as I did. You do not have to do the research as I have done it for you. Neither do you have to experience the disease, I have done and wish tell you everything that you need to know, and most important of all, I tell you what I did to survive.
