Dear Photographer, Maybe you don't think so, right now... but models are easy to find. In fact, if you live in a large city, all you really have to do is pick up the phone and call a modeling agency!
But, as you can guess, rates for professionals are high and you'll probably have some hoops to jump through, and few locations outside large metropolitan centers can support modeling careers.
MEANING... If you can't afford the fees, live far from a big city, and are craving models for your stock photos, glamour shoots, or figure studies, you'll have to do what most photographers do: develop ways of finding models on your own... or forget it and turn to shooting scenics and sunsets!
But wait! Before you even think of giving up, I have a question for you...
WHY SPEND TIME DRAGGING HEAVY AND EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT UP AND DOWN MOUNTAINS PHOTOGRAPHING "NATURE" IN ALL KINDS OF WEATHER IF THE KIND OF "NATURE" YOU REALLY WANT TO PHOTOGRAPH IS EPITOMIZED IN THE FEMALE FORM???
Or... why resign yourself to the futile act of adding even more scenics to the nearly endless supply currently available in stock files everywhere - when the best selling subjects, in crucial need of constant replenishment as trends and styles change, involve people?
