Choosing a gift for being to display in their house can be frustrating. On the different hand, if you're purchasing
for a friend or family member, you can give a present that wish be appreciated.
When to Not Give House Décor Presents
If you've ne'er
been to your friend's home, I would-be by all odds not give a home item unless it's for a recent bride with a gift registry. Even as if you're gift purchasing
with your friend and she points out a darling framed image or adorned pillow, that doesn't mean the item wish fit in her personal interior décor.
Perhaps you cognize your friend collects figurines like I do. Because of my last name, I started aggregation fish years ago. However, I collect diminutive glass antique fish, simply about one inch tall. The large wooden fish my parent gave me simply doesn't fit my interior décor.
How to Give House Décor Presents
If you have been to your friend's house and cognize she necessarily to complete her house decorating with accessories, here are several gift ideas:
1. Double check your friend's color scheme. Your gift doesn't have to match dead to blend in.
2. Do sure her house isn't too jam-pawncked with many a small decorating items. Many a small accessories do a house feel cluttered.
3. Do thing
yourself that has meaning to you both. For instance, do a stained glass icon to reflect light in her bathroom window.
4. Find an old exposure of you two from the past. Get the image touched up professionally and frame it in a frame that blends in with her house decorations.
5. Give your friend a brobdingnagian candle dressed up with pearls, sequins, or seashells with a base that matches her style. For instance, if she loves silver, crystal, ceramics, or brass, choose that material.
