Hi, my name is Ed Heath and the WS Stock System is my personal stock system I created. I'm not a stock broker, financial advisor, or newsletter subscription pusher. I'm just a non-professional, average consumer investor who got tired of losing money or just breaking even in the stock market listening to all the guru's hot stock market picks while paying out over $100 per year for their useless subscriptions or over $1,000 for their systems that don't work. I also got sick and tired of all the financial advisors and investment brokers pushing their high commission products for their own good, and not mine! I'm not satisfied with a 2-5% annual return on my money, or worse losing over 10% and calling it "long term investing". I developed my own trading system in 2003 and began investing using my system in 2004. I have consistently more than tripled the market S&P every year since then. Of course your returns may vary.

The stocks I purchase are mostly small and mid cap companies that are traded on the three major exchanges. I do not trade stocks on the OTC board or pink sheets! With my swing trading system, you will hold most stocks in your portfolio on an average of 1 week (some only for a couple days, some for several weeks). I "long" all stocks, so you're holding them on the up-swing.
One of the problems of long term investing is choosing the right companies. Take the 30 stocks in the Dow. If you check the companies from 1 year ago, only approx. 30-35% of them made gains (how do you not pick the other 65-70%?). If you check the Dow 30 over the past 5 years, only approx. 60-65% made gains (how do you not pick the other 40-45%?). If you check the Dow 30 over the past 10 years, 80-85% of them made gains (how do you not pick the other 15-20%?). Some of these gains were just a little more than breaking even!
While attending an investment convention, I heard one of the speakers make a comment that will forever stick in my mind. When he was asked what advice he had for the long term investor, he said, " First, let me explain what makes a long term investor. If you buy a stock and it goes down 21/2 to 3% , you say oh well, it'll go back up. Then if it goes down another 21/2 to 3%, your hands start getting sweaty and you nervously say it will still go back up. Then if it goes down another 21/2 to 3% or more....now you're a long term investor because you're praying that someday you'll get back some of your loses." He then said, "You must pick quality stocks and have a sell system in place". That one comment was what inspired me to create my stock system with the sell charts.
I'm not going to mislead you and tell you that my system doesn't require some work or guarantees success. I've yet to find any success in life that comes with guarantees and zero work. The WS Stock System does require some time and effort on your part, and it will be only your own due diligence to purchase successful stocks.
