About the author:
This e-book is written by Aileen Montag, MA/CCC-SLP, a Speech Language Pathologist whose main focus is working with the early intervention and preschool population. Mrs. Montag holds an M.A. from Queens College, Queens, NY and currently practices as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist/Consultant on Long Island, NY.
Mrs. Montag is both a speech therapist working with young children, and a parent of a young child who had speech concerns. Mrs. Montag's book focuses on experiences as both a parent and therapist. In the book, Mrs. Montag explains the evaluation process, provides suggestions for the parent to facilitate speech and language skills, and in addition, discusses how emotional this whole process can be.
