Book Description: The story behind "Symphony of Love". The 'seed' for the Ebook was planted more than 7 years ago when the first love quote came into my life. I was preparing a gift for a special girl and was running out of idea as to what to give to her. It could have been easier to just buy something, but it would not be 'special': it has to be something which no one else would be able to buy from a shop. Finally, the most brilliant idea flashed across my mind (ha ha ... at least I think it was). I counted the remaining number of days from the day I was to give her the gift to the end of that year; it worked out to be more than 270 days.
I was having my internship then, which is one of the requirements for my computer engineering course that all undergraduates have to go through. So during the day I had to work, which left me only time at night to search the internet for love quotes. It took me several days to compile all the love quotes. However, you have to trust me, that was really the easiest part.
The hardest and most enjoyable part too was the following next few nights and weekends. I started to write each and everyone of the love quote onto a small piece of paper (about 2cm x 2cm) and then folded each piece of the paper into a paper rabbit. When I was done with the writing and folding, I bought a glass apple which look a lot like a crystal apple and the inside of the glass apple is hollow, which allows you to put things into it. I put all the 270+ rabbits into the glass apple and I added in some dried flowers too to give it a sense of 'romance'. I remember the day when I passed her the gift, I told her, "if ever you are unhappy, just take out a rabbit and unfold it to read the love quote inside."
The funny thing is after so many years when we talked recently, I asked her if she ever unfold a rabbit and read the love quote inside. I had a good laugh with her reply. I remembered she sound surprise and she ask me, "are there love quote inside the rabbits?" We had a good laugh.
Symphony of Love is a beautiful picture eBook of love quote. In Symphony of Love, there are 365 pages of love quotes and in every page there is a picture to go with the love quote of that page.
