I suffered from sleep problems for years but I have found a really simple and easy way to beat it and I want to share it w ith you. I want you to know that you can easily get back into a good sleeping pattern again and you can do it fast. If you are feeling exhausted from lack of sleep I think that you will find this very exciting.
First let me assure you that I am a registered nurse and I am also a lawyer, so you can be sure I will never offer you anything which is the least bit risky or unproven. Because of my background in nursing and law I am good at research and I understand scientific research papers. So I was able to do the research into sleep and to find my solution.
Look, don't you agree that sleep is natural? We are meant to sleep for around 8 hours in 24, that is how we are made. So there has to be an easy solution to something so natural and so essential. Pills are easy but they are a far from perfect solution. They don't give you a really refreshing night's sleep, as you will know if you have ever tried them for more than a couple of weeks. I knew there must be something better that was just as fast and easy, and I was determined to find it.
Well rather than bore you with the details let me just say that I finally did find the answer to my insomnia. It worked and it was very simple and pleasant to use. But it made me cross! Cross that this easy inexpensive solution isn't promoted as a first line of attack against insomnia (insomnia just means trouble sleeping). Most doctors don't seem to have even heard of it- why not? Maybe because there isn't any money in it. Money for the drug companies- who visit doctors to tell them about their latest sleeping pills. Doctors are busy they can't research everything themselves.
The Solution That Helped Me To Sleep Every Night It is an easy, fast, safe and natural cure for sleeplessness. Its a drugless remedy you can use at home and It isn't expensive
What I discovered was a program that could coax your brain waves to adopt a slower pattern, a pattern that it normally produces when we are asleep, or are very relaxed or drowsy. Once your brain tunes into that sleepy rhythmn you become very relaxed and sleepy and then you genrally fall asleep. To cut a long story short, I bought it and the first night that I used it it sent me to sleep after about 10 minutes. I slept all night and woke in the morning feeling really good for the first time in a long while. I continued to use the program and it almost always worked. My sleepless days were over at last.
The program I bought was "The Little Calm Machine". The process it used is called brainwave entrainment. (If you have tried brain wave entrainment before hang on- this is a bit different from other programs.) Sadly the Little Calm Machine is no longer in production. I tried to replace mine last year as it needed attention. The merchant told me that it was now too expensive to produce and so they had decided not to continue with it.
After my initial disapointment had subsided I decided to do some research to see whether I could find or a similar program or get one made for me. It had to be no less effective than my original machine and not too expensive. There are other mind machines on the market but they are all very pricy, and honestly you really don't need a machine.
I discovered that the exact same effect can be produced using a special type of recorded sound. The sound can be played on a CD or an MP3 player, and has just the same effect as any mind machine. The process of brain wave entrainment is all a bit technical so I am not going into too much detail here. If you are interested in learning more about the technology you will find more in my e-book, which is completely free. If you don't have it I will give you the link in a moment.
But briefly here's how brain wave entrainment works...
Our brains produce electricity as they process our activities. This electricity can be measured using an EEG (stands for electro-encephalograph) machine and when printed out it looks like waves. When we are alert and busy the activity in our brains is faster than when we are relaxed and the wave pattern shows this effect. When you fall asleep your brainwaves are quite slow and are called alpha waves.
It has been found that your brain can be coaxed into adopting the state that you want when you play the sound or beat associated with the desired state. So that if you want to sleep you can play a particular type of tone or beat at the rate your brain adopts when it is very relaxed or asleep. Your brain will begin to synchronize with that beat. It will automatically slow down and begin to produce the slower alpha waves. The result is that you begin to be sleepy and you are able to fall asleep. The process is called brainwave entrainment.
Like I said, this isn't a new discovery, the first research into brainwave entrainment was carried out in the 1930s. What is new is that we can now take advantage of it inexpensively at home to help us attain various brain states, including sleep. This process is backed by a mountain of scientific research over more than 70 years.
Brain Wave Entrainment Programs for Sleeplessness There are audios on the market that use brain wave entrainment, you may even have tried them. I tried several but I couldn't find one that I really liked. The sounds were either unpleasant or annoying. They didn't help me to sleep and one even gave me a headache. None of them worked for me, with one exception, the Holosync program. Its pleasant enough- you just hear heavy rain and some background chimes and music, and it did send me to sleep for a while. But I got a bit bored with it, its quite monotonous. It is also a very expensive solution and much more expensive than it needs to be for what it is. Because I couldn't find a brainwave entrainment program that worked for me I decided to get one made. I knew what I wanted-it had to:
Be pleasant to listen to, neither monotonous nor jarring
Use guided relaxation or other calming tecniques Use the most effective type of brainwave entrainment (they are not all the same) The voice must be very pleasant and wihout a strong accent Send me to sleep within 10 to 30 minutes Be able to be played on my MP3 or C D player
We did it. We developed a program that produces brain wave entrainment that not only sounds good but will send you to sleep fast. You don't have to do a thing except get into bed lie down and switch on you audio player- its that simple. It ended up being two audios.
At other times you may simply want to listen to the entrainment without any guidance. So we also made a second audio that doesn't include any spoken words. This second audio uses brainwave entrainment for the whole 60 minutes.
As you lie in bed listening you will sink into a very relaxed state and will find it almost impossible to stay awake.
The Sleep Sound Program The whole program is available either on MP3 or Compact Disk. The programs are completely identical.
SLEEP SOUND 1: For Deep Sleep
Sleep Sound 1: This audio begins with a 20 minute guided relaxation that includes visualization and hypnotic suggestion. Once you are comfortably relaxed the brainwave entrainment begins. The whole program takes 60 minutes, but most people fall asleep long before it ends.
We added the guided relaxation because if you are very tense sometimes you need some extra help. Your sleeplessness may be caused by extra stress from a demanding job, teenage children,a chronic pain condition or something else that impedes relaxation. Whatever your problem the relaxation session will help you to become calmer and better able to benefit from the entrainment.
SLEEP SOUND 2: Time For Sleep
Sleep Sound 2: "Time To Sleep" contains a 60 minute brain wave entrainment session embedded in music and nature sounds. There are no words. This may suit you after you have used the main audio and are able to relax without additional help.
