Problem areas... We've all got them. For me, it's always been my butt and thighs. It's the first place that I store fat and it's the last place that it comes off. But rather than give into my genetic predisposition to store fat in my lower body I went on a mission to combat it. That's why when you look at my pictures you'd think I'm crazy to say that my butt and thighs are problem areas.
...So what exactly did I do to tighten up my problem areas and develop a lean and desirable body?
First of all I refused to give into the adage "A moment on your lips leads to a lifetime on your hips." Although I desperately wanted to get rid of the cellulite on my hips (Yes you read that correct. I've had cellulite on my hips), there was simply no way that I was willing to give up my daily treats in order to achieve this goal.
...That's right! I was able to transform my body while enjoying a small treat such as cookies or ice cream every day!
What worked best for me was to create a 7 day meal plan that included quick and easy to prepare healthy meals for our family, which also took into account the preferences of my son (our picky eater), and allowed room for a small treat for myself each day.
