The chosen cards are shuffled and lost in the pack and the pack is placed into the mug.
Now to the astonishment and amazement of everyone, as each chosen card is named, it SLOWLY RISES UP OUT OF THE PACK !
You simply ask the person to call out the name of the card they chose and as you shake the mug, the chosen card just Rises Right Out of the centre of the pack, without any threads or magnets or anything that would explain how this miracle could possibly occur.
Then to really confound the onlookers, you hand them the pack of cards and return the borrowed mug.
Then sit back an watch them check out every card in the pack and inspect the coffee mug with the curiosity and enthusiasm of an eager Sherlock Holmes.
