Now, maybe you know me as a result of my books about buying and selling antiques and collectibles, or running a profitable eBay business, but there is another side to me.

You see, I have more websites than the ones you are familiar with. I have sites that promote affiliate products, sites for Google AdSense, sites to generate leads for other, sites to build email lists and over a dozen sites selling ebooks on a wide variety of topics. You get the idea.

Over the past eight years, I have dabbled and tried almost all forms of internet marketing. Sometimes I got poor results, other times I did well. As time went by my skills improved and my efforts become more lucrative.

But while the money is great, the best thing about working on the web is the freedom. I'm not just making good money, I've actually got the time to enjoy it.

That's a feeling money just can't buy!

Online Marketing Is Easy

The fact is, to make money on the web all you need is a few simple tools and the will to get up and do it. What skills you need can be learned as you go along.

Actually, the skills you've learned running your eBay auctions are the same skills you'll need to build your online empire.

You are already farther along than the average newcomer to internet marketing. All you need is a little bit of coaching and you'll be able to build your own empire.

What's Holding You Back?

When I wrote my best selling eBook The Auction Revolution about getting the most out of your eBay business, one of my goals was to help eBay sellers add other online revenue streams to their businesses.

A year and a half after I wrote the Auction Revolution, I asked readers to send me a short note telling me about their online businesses.

Sadly, most people who read the Auction Revolution never moved past eBay. Sure they used the information gained from reading the Auction Revolution to build their eBay businesses and increase their profits, but they didn't follow my advice and move beyond eBay.

When I asked them why, the number one reason was they felt overwhelmed by the possibilities and didn't know where to start.

Just a short list of the ways to make money online can be staggering:

  • Newsletters and ezines

  • Creating and selling information products

Taken as a group these things can be overwhelming, but taken individually they are all pretty easy to learn.

Another reason given for not moving past eBay is being too busy running their eBay auctions and living their lives to add more activities to their workload.

Now, I'm not going to give you some airy-fairy theory about what should work if everything clicks the way I think it should. The fact is, I doubt if a single one of those authors has sold anything online except copies of their book on Amazon.

Here's my first piece of advice: don't listen to advice from someone who hasn't been there and done it!

This is absolutely crucial.

I've been there and done it. I can prove it in a simple way you can easily understand.

Think about it...you already know me. You've used my advice to improve your eBay auctions and increase your profits. I was able to get you here reading this page, and chances are really high you've already spent some of your money on my products. I can't give you any better proof of my internet marketing skills than my ability to get money out of a skeptic like you.

If I can get you here, and keep you reading this long, I can surely show you how to do the same thing.

Here's a second piece of simple advice: give your clients satisfaction and they will come back for more.

When I started moving beyond eBay, I didn't set out to make a fortune on the Web. I just figured it might give me an extra hundred bucks or so a week to make my life a little better. But as time went by, I ditched what didn't work and did more of what did, and my income grew. If I saw something that I thought would bring in extra cash, I put up a website and gave it a try.

The fact that it's so easy to create web businesses made it simple. If I wanted to take advantage of an opportunity, it cost me next to nothing to try and I lost little if it failed.

Even better, every time I tried something, I increased my skills. Every attempt brought me closer to my goals. It wasn't long before I knew exactly how to find the right products and bring them to the right customers.

That's what I'm going to teach you. I'm not going to give you any strange theories or fancy ideas. I'm just going to tell you exactly what I did-and what I'm still doing so that you can do the exact same thing.

Of course, I can't guarantee that you'll have the exact same results as me. Heck, I bet if I were starting from scratch today I'd have different results too. I might even have better results.
