Not only do you get products just like you want them, but this method is naturally economical. Since you're not paying for fancy packaging, retail mark-up, and elaborate advertising, the cost of your products is at least 50% less than Bath and Body Works (as a reference).
Usually, you end up paying about 25% the cost, but your products are much better quality! Instead of water and mineral oil, you can use aloe juice and shea butter. You can add exotic extracts and proteins to daily-use shampoo and get something better than the spas! (And most of the time, the amount of active or functional ingredients in commercial products is so small, it doesn't make a difference.)
