Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Eric Wong and I'm an MMA Performance Coach, working with fighters who've won championship belts, knocked their opponents out in the first round, and who've won unanimous decisions.

But I haven't always been training elite mixed-martial artists like UFC-vet Jeff "The Inferno" Joslin and up-and-comer Ray "The Hitman" Penny.

I started my career as a Personal Trainer in 2000 working with regular people like you, who simply wanted to lose weight and get in shape.

Now I'm not the biggest guy around. I'm 6' tall and weigh about 175 pounds. But I'm strong, and my body fat is very low, hovering around 6-7% year-round. When I'm wearing my regular clothes I'm not busting through my shirts and I have no problem scratching my back (like the big muscleheads).

But when I'm wearing something more fitted or I lose the shirt, people notice. Wouldn't you like catching girls trying to sneak glances at you at the beach, or telling their friends to look your way? I've got a girlfriend, but trust me, it still feels good (shhh, don't say anything).

I'll be the first to admit- I was ignorant to everything I'm about to share with you. Since then, I've learned the truth about what it takes to help someone to get lean, cut, and defined, and you're about to discover all of it...

I first started training fighters and learning MMA myself in 2005. As I studied the sport of mixed-martial arts and developed programs to help my fighters be in peak condition, I would put my fitness clients on similar workout programs and introduce them to actual MMA skills.

From my years spent training mixed-martial artists, I've figured out exactly how to structure the exercise program to help my athletes get powerful and cardio that never quits, without bulking up.

I've put everything I've learned into a comprehensive, easy-to-follow program that will get you ripped so you can finally show off and be proud of your body.

MMA Workout Secret #1
Mixed-martial artists workout using compound and advanced exercises that train the ENTIRE body and core at the same time.
The goal of bodybuilding is to develop all of the muscles so that you can see them clearly while they're on stage (in their g-strings, I might add). That's why they do so many sets of different variations of isolation exercises such as bicep curls, delt raises, leg extensions, and more.

MMA workouts are designed to improve performance in athletic, not isolated movements. So to start, exercises like squats, deadlifts, and chinups are absolutely necessary for any fighter.

But they need even more challenging exercises because of the random and dangerous situations they find themselves in. So exercises that force them to balance the body, hold the core stable, and develop strength are a major factor in not only their performance, but their physical appearance.

MMA skill training like boxing contributes
to developing the lean, athletic, and ripped look.
You've probably noticed that MMA fighters and boxers have absolutely chiseled arms and shoulders.

It's not because they spend hours doing shoulder and arm exercises. As you've learned, they barely do these types of exercises at all.

In fact, if you're doing too many of these exercises, you'll not only get slower, but you'll also start to have that meathead look where you can't even scratch your own back.

The real reason why their arms are so cut is because of the punches they throw, over and over. They don't have to do bicep curls or tricep extensions all day!

So instead of pumping away doing endless curls, you'll learn MMA striking techniques in this program and perform them in your workouts to get the chiseled and cut arms that are typical of mixed-martial artists.

MMA Workout Secret #3
Fighters do full body workouts based
on movement patterns, not muscles.

You just discovered that fighters don't do 'chest and bicep' workouts. What they actually do are routines based on movement patterns. The major movement patterns are:

  1. Lunge
  2. Squat
  3. Bend
  4. Push
  5. Pull
  6. Twist
  7. Core stability

When you create your program around movement patterns, you not only have more effective fat-burning workouts, you also have more efficient workouts.

That's because all the basic movement patterns work many different muscle groups at once, unlike traditional machine-based exercises like leg extensions (which also ruin your knees). So when you do these workouts, you turn your metabolism into a raging fire.

And that's why this program saves you so much time that you'd rather spend with friends and family or hanging out at the beach having girls stare at you. Plus, when you train your body for movement, your body looks athletic, instead of bulked up and artificial like most bodybuilders.

(and mind-numbing boredom) of endless hours of cardio.

Instead of feeling like a hamster in a wheel, you can learn how to train to develop endless cardio just like your favorite UFC fighters. The side benefit - you'll literally melt the fat off your body!

When Mixed-martial artists spar they're intensely working their cardiovacular systems. That's where the MMA interval circuits in this program come into play. When you do these circuits, you'll physically feel what it's like to be in a fight (without getting tapped out).

Fighters aren't sitting on a bike or running 5 miles everyday; they're doing explosive movements, going up and down repeatedly, and training their body in many different positions.

When fighters practice their technical game, they don't spar hard, but they're constantly moving their bodies. MMA Workout Secret #5
MMA fighters follow a plan where one week builds on the
next so they can be ultra-lean and powerful on fight night.

You may have heard the term 'periodization' before. But if you haven't, it basically means to structure a program so that an athlete peaks at a certain time.

For mixed-martial artists, this time is the weigh-in - they have to be at their optimal weight with next to no body fat on their body, so they can be at their peak level of strength and power at the upper range of their weight class.

Any excess body fat would decrease the amount of muscle they have, which would decrease their ability to generate strength and power.

Because the MMA Ripped program is based on my experience taking fighters to the big show, you'll learn exactly how to train to get as lean as possible in 16 weeks.
