The Problem

English is the International Language. It is important for business, for travel, and for getting along in today's world. The Solution

The Designers

The design team of Listening Workshop Home Study English Program is led by John Comerford, director of English Friends Press. He has a Master's Degree in Education and is a specialist in curriculum design. He has been a university teacher and director of English language programs in Malaysia, Korea and Japan, and has taught English as a Second Language for over 35 years. It was while designing and teaching ESL programs in Japan and South Korea that Mr. Comerford noticed the serious problem in the English education systems of so many countries and began the research that finally led to the development of many new English teaching systems, including Listening Workshop Home Study English Program.
