Dear Made Guys, Ragooz, Goombahs, and all youse who love a good Pizza Pie!
I know youse all think you know good pizza pie - We all got our favorite joints that make the BEST. Like in Chi-Town where I sometimes hang, it's gotta be Rosati's, Malnati's and Gino's East (my cousin's old place - God love him!)
But, answer me this - How many of youse know how to MAKE a good pizza? Aha! And I don't mean going to the store to buy some cardboard cagatta with canned sauce on it and then bringing it to your house and smelling up the place with it in your oven! Marrron! Ya' gotta be kiddin' with that! So, I figures it's about time for your good pal and goombah, Joey C (that's me) to "deliver" on my pizza recipe promise. Hey, that's good...DELIVER a Pizza (recipe)! I am indeed a funny guy as my Concetta always says.
Here's why I'm doin' this...
Just a few weeks ago, a few of my crew and me were playing a game of "Hearts" and we got into it good about pizza. Poor Vito Barbazzo took a clip to the nose and we had to get an ice pack for Salvatore "Big Sal's" shoulder. It was him that clipped Vito. At 71, Sal oughta take it easy with his wiseguy stuff. But, back to my story - I got so much agida that I figured I'd put my recipe out there on my Joey Clams' place and give everybody a chance to know what REAL PIZZA is all about. So, like my family guys say: "Badabing" we got pizza!
