E-book Category: Health, Medicine E-book Title: Inside Medical Transcription Book Description: "Who Else Wants a Truly Recession-Proof Work-At-Home Business?" You're About To Discover A Career Opportunity Where You Will NEVER Be Laid Off Due To A Recession -- And Where You Can Gain More Freedom And More Control In Your Life, And Work On Your Own Terms For Great Money!
Dear Prospective Transcriptionist,
Recession got you down?
Every day someone else I talk to brings up the current economic crisis and how they're scared they or their spouse is going to get laid off next, and then what'll they do? The bills, the mortgage, the child care just won't wait.
Times are so uncertain; the days of a company showing loyalty to its employees for their years of dedicated service are long gone.
Any yet they ask for so much, don't they? You work overtime (for no pay, 'cause you're on salary), you have to practically beg (or it seems that way) for a measly day off to care for your sick child, and you get two lousy weeks of vacation a year (if that).
And then they can just walk up to you one day and say, "Sorry. Layoffs." Boom. You're gone. Time to start over, with all the other thousands competing for the same jobs. Great. Just great.
That's a pretty stressful feeling, not being in control of your life.
What we need is a way to get that control back, get that job security (when was the last time you heard that?) back.
But is there really such a thing as a recession-proof job anymore? Really? When even police and firemen don't have job security?
Yep. Can you guess which one?
Well, since the big banner at the top of the page says "Medical Transcription," let's talk about that!
Hi, I'm Pam Lyon, a 25-year veteran in Medical Transcription, and in one of the last major recessions (oh, a long time ago now) I found myself in this same situation -- uneasy, stressed, curious, and looking for something better than what I had.
At the time, I was fortunate enough to "stumble into" the field, not knowing what I'd found, and since then I've never had to worry a day about whether I was going to lose my job when the economy turned sour. I know that I'll always have a job when I get up in the morning.
Why is that? Why is Medical Transcription Recession-Proof?
There's One Reason: People will always have to go to the doctor!
And as America's health challenges continue to grow (obesity, Boomers aging), the demand for good transcriptionists will only increase. And there aren't enough to go around now!
I've put together a comprehensive guide to tell you all about the career field, and more importantly, how to get started right! It's called Inside Medical Transcription. Here are some of the things we'll cover inside: - What is Medical Transcription?
- What does a transcriptionist do, day-to-day?
- How can I know if I'll like it?
- What can I really expect to earn?
Like I said above, I didn't know what I'd gotten into, but I quickly grew to love the field. I loved learning all about the human body, what everything is called. I loved hearing about all the surgeries and the fascinating personal stories of the patients.
It was endlessly fascinating; I learned something new and interesting every day!
As time went by, I began to notice one other thing as well. I noticed that there was always a shortage of good transcriptionists, no matter how the economy was doing. No talk of layoffs here, no sir! It was always, "Do you know anyone who might be interested in learning?"
And also over the years I got question after question from people about how to get started in Medical Transcription. And I could never quite find the kind of information I thought really told it like it is. Things like: - What are some of the "bad" things about being a transcriptionist? (Oh, you mean it's not Perfect?)
- Is Transcription really a legitimate work-from-home opportunity?
- Who might I work for?
- How do I find a job?
So I decided to create it.
I want you to have some confidence that you really know what you would be getting yourself in for when you start out in Transcription. And I want you to have confidence that you will succeed if you just apply yourself.
You will learn how to get started, and get started right! Inside, you'll discover: - If you want to start your own business, how to do that.
- Is it smart to start your own business right away?
- Do you need a Web site? How to get one set up.
I looked back on my experiences, and I interviewed trusted colleagues about their experiences in this field, and the result is a work that you can trust to show you what it's really like to be a full time transcriptionist, and how to be a success at it.
Inside Inside Medical Transcription, you'll learn: - Why Medical Transcription is a great profession

My business associates tell me that this information is easily comparable to other resources selling for $50 or more.
But I'm not going to do that to you.
I don't make my living from selling books. I make my living as a medical transcriptionist, and I have a good career. Giving back and helping others is what I want to do now. So I've decided to release this book at $57 $47 $27. This way I can help as many people as possible. More... |
