Well it isn't if you have the right information. You see, pound for pound, nothing provides a better return on your investment than properly structuring your weight training and then getting out of the gym to grow! Not having much time for a social life due to being in the gym so much
Having nagging injuries.
And that's why I want to tell you about Paul Brodeur. He is the man who developed a system to helping his training clients gain weight fast, while minimizing the amount of time they need in the gym.

How I Gained 27 Pounds In Just Over A Year
In 2000 I was looking at high intensity training (HIT) websites. While I had read many of the HIT books and websites, I had several questions and had never actually met a HIT trainer or someone who got results for his clients using HIT methods. This was especially difficult as there were no online forums to help people actually meet, in person, those who trained with some sort of HIT philosophy. All I could find were anecdotes and testimonials, but everyone lived somewhere far away.

Then, on one of the testimonial pages, was a mention of a man who trained just once a week (sometimes even less!) and lived within a short drive. He even posted his phone number since he did consultations. I called and talked with Paul Brodeur; and I came to find out that not only was he a powerlifting champion but he also personally knew many of the same HIT authors I was reading at the time. We agreed to meet at Metroflex Gym (in Arlington, Texas) and he would show me his philosophy for gaining weight fast.

My first workout with him was humbling to say the least! Not only was I humbled by a man nearly twice my age, he also blew apart dozens of the "false myths" I had picked up by reading the magazines. When I started training with him at 196 pounds, at a height of 6' 4".

Over the next 14 months I went up to 223 pounds at roughly the same body fat percentage. In just over one year, in my late 20's, I gained 27 pounds!

The best part is that I trained with Paul just once a week. Any other "training" I did during the week was cardio, walking, or shoveling snow when I went back to the Northeast to visit family during the Holidays!
