E-book Category: Garden E-book Title: High Density Gardening Book Description: Discover the Secrets to Growing Superb Tasting, Really Fresh Healthy Vegetables From a Tiny Area With Only a Few Hours of Work a Week
From Ric Wiley:
If you want to discover how to grow really fresh, wholesome and tasty vegetables that can be on your plate within minutes, and to do all this without any sustained hard work, then this is going to be an exactly what you are looking for.
When I was a child, my family were almost self sufficient in vegetables as my father grew everything he could in his back yard. I never took an interest in helping him and didn't realize that not all vegetables tasted like what my father grew.
When I married and moved into my own house I started shopping at the local supermarket and meals never tasted the same. I suppose a lot of that was due to my mothers cooking but over the years I have learned how to cook like she does but still my food did not taste the same.
Why? Well her vegetables were still being grown by my father and my vegetables were being grown by massive agri-businesses. The supermarkets sell this food as FRESH.
My local supermarket ships in fresh produce from all over the world. Fresh green beans flown in from 6,000 miles away. Fresh chilies flown in from 8,000 miles miles away. And even fresh fruit from 12,000 miles away. Labor is cheap in developing counties and this is often where they grow their fresh vegetables - thousands and thousands of miles away.

Do not make the same mistakes as an Agri-Businesses
Agri-business just do not seem to care about the land. Here are some ideas about agri-businesses and I am sure you will recognize some if not all of them. - Agri-business do not seem to care about the soil but just care about their profit
- Agri-business appear to grow vegetables with massive doses of inorganic chemical fertilizers
- Agri-business appear to grow vegetables with massive doses of pesticides and herbicides
- Agri-business seem to grow vegetables on massive factory farms covering thousands of acres
- Agri-business cannot know every square yard of their land and what goes into it
- I often think agri-businesses do not care about the taste of their products, but just how the vegetables look on the supermarket shelf because that is where they appear to make their profits.
The supermarkets are just as bad. They do not care for the land, they just seem to care for their profits. They seem to care about how the vegetables look, but not what it tastes like. Supermarkets do not even seem to care for their suppliers. I used to be a supplier to the biggest supermarket chain in the UK and whilst they thought my product was fantastic they wanted to drive my prices down. They do this time and time again. The only way I could continue to supply them was to cut corners to keep my costs low.
How does an agri-business cut corners? They use more in-organic chemical fertilizers, they use more and stronger pesticides and herbicides, they cut labor costs. They grow mass produced, cheap and chemically treated vegetables. These are then sold on to you as fresh and lots of businesses keep adding their profit on before it gets to you. You pay for this.
By following the principals of High Density Gardening you cut out the in-organic agri-business practices and the vast quantities of herbicides and pesticides they use. With what you discover in this book, you will soon be growing high quality, tasty, wholesome vegetables in your own High Density Garden Beds - just like me.
Soon, your friends, neighbors, and dinner party guests, will be envious of what you can grow in such a small space and with so little effort. They will be asking you how you grew such fantastic tasting vegetables. More... |
