E-book Title: Get Natural! Drop Your Blood Pressure
Author: Kevin Riley
Book Description:

"WARNING: What you are about to discover are some of the most important facts about high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke found anywhere. Read it well ... this special report could be the one that saves your life."

It's the Number 1 Killer! Cardiovascular disease claims a new victim every 35 seconds. In just one day, it kills 2500 Americans. They die of heart attacks ... they die of stroke.

To a heart attack, you are not special ... you are not exempt. It can reach out and take you ... any time it wants.

High blood pressure is the #1 cause ...

... of cardiovascular disease. Even worse it's a "hidden" cause. It can bring on disease of the heart and arteries ... and you don't even know it.

High blood pressure is a serious threat ... 69% of the people who suffer their first heart attack, have high blood pressure.

And those who develop congestive heart failure? The major damage to the heart that seriously affects its ability to pump blood? The weakening of the heart muscle that can leave you with blood backing up in your legs - or worse - your lungs? 91% of all cases of congestive heart failure have high blood pressure.

It's because of this "hidden" damage that high blood pressure is called "the silent killer"

Do you have high blood pressure?

There's much too high a chance of "Yes!" In the US alone ... according to the American Heart Association's 2006 Update ... over 65,000,000 people have high blood pressure. That's 1 person in every 3.

Take a look around you. Is it Marge - working on the new designs? Or, is it Jason - loading a toner cartridge in the copier? Or ... is it YOU?

And ... there's more bad news

On top of the unbelievably large number afflicted with high blood pressure ... another 59,000,000 Americans have pre-hypertension. Not in the danger zone yet ... but definitely on the borderline.

So ... let's see ... that's 2 out of every 3 people that either have high blood pressure ... or are heading that way.

Note ... this is not just an American problem. This is a worldwide problem. High blood pressure affects all industrialized countries ... and the developing countries are also catching up.

So ... yes, the chances are pretty good (or should I say BAD) that you have high blood pressure.

The silent killer lies in wait

High blood pressure doesn't usually have symptoms ... over 1/3 of its victims don't even know that the killer is lurking inside them. It quietly damages your heart and arteries.

  • High blood pressure is a factor in hardening of the arteries ... which leads to a blockage and a heart stopped dead in its tracks!
  • Your heart is forced to work harder to circulate blood ... enlarging part of the heart and weakening the muscle. One day ... pftt!
  • Over time, high blood pressure weakens artery walls, leading to a bulging blood vessel ... or, even worse, a burst artery ... a stroke!

High blood pressure is involved in 77% of all strokes. Strokes that kill somebody in America every 3 minutes.

Yeah, but I'm real healthy ... won't happen to me

I eat healthy foods ... I hike ... I work out in a gym. Imagine my shock!

One day I decided to use the automatic blood pressure cuff in my gym. It showed a rather high reading. Naw ... couldn't be. So it did it again ... took a few deep breaths to relax ... calmed myself ... hit the button. And waited.

OK, it was a little lower ... but still much too high. Had to be something wrong with that machine.

A few days later, my wife forced me to go for a check-up. I know ... us men are such sissies - we hate going to doctors. Well, he confirmed it ... 146/88.

Wow! That's getting into hypertension range. But how could it be? With my healthy lifestyle? With my diet?

I was quite dismayed. I'm only 48 ... I'm healthy ... I'm not ready to become an invalid.

Can you avoid having a stroke?

Of course you can!

According to the American Heart Association ... high blood pressure is the #1 modifiable risk factor for stroke.

Note ... it is modifiable ... means it can be prevented ... means it can be reduced ... means you can lower your blood pressure ... means you can lower your risk of having a debilitating stroke.

Many needless strokes ... much needless suffering ... can be avoided!

A heart attack will change you

Heart attacks ... strokes ... they don't just kill - they horribly alter lives. Heart attack survivors have a very high risk of a second one ... and they never know when it will hit.

Fear is the strongest reaction to a heart attack. It's a timebomb ticking in your chest ... when will it go off again. Will you die this time? Most survivors are actually more afraid of another heart attack ... than death itself.

Your first heart attack will take away those feelings of strength and invincibility ... it'll leave you a frightened shell of your former self. There's something that you'll never get back.

Controlling blood pressure with lifestyle and diet

A large number of studies have shown ... blood pressure can be controlled, simply by eating the right foods and living the right lifestyle. Most high blood pressure could have been avoided ... to begin with.

Our unhealthy lifestyle ... our unhealthy eating habits ... they lead us down a road to disease and age.

What's holding you back?

Doctors are routinely telling their patients to change. But change isn't easy ... change isn't fun!

Many sufferers of high blood pressure are given a brochure ... told to eat less salt ... exercise more ... eat less this ... eat more that ... do this ... don't do that!

It all is overwhelming. Habits of a lifetime can't be changed in one fell swoop.

You don't know where to start ... the list is too long. You don't even understand why some things need to be done ... you need a reason.

So, what happens?

You put it off ... next week ... next month ... next year. Until it's too late!

Sad thing is ...

... it's really not that hard. Eating well ... living well ... it's easy enough to do. And it can be fun!

What you need is someone to lead you there ... someone to take you by the hand. Step by little step. No gigantic leaps into the unknown ... just baby steps.

This is why I developed the "Get Natural! Drop Your Blood Pressure" program

The thing is ... I'm just like you. If I don't have a clear easy-to-follow plan, I soon go off track. I know ... you start off with the best of intentions, but life intrudes ... old habits get in the way ... before you know it, you haven't made any progress at all!

So I developed an easy-to-follow program ... I made it step-by-step ... I made it easy to understand ... I made it fun ... for you. It's a 12-week program that gently leads you along a scenic path to a new life of health, good eating, and fun lifestyle. Along the way ... your blood pressure will drop.

A mountain of research ... divulges its secrets

I spent months and months researching ... deep in the latest medical and scientific reports. In the last year or so, the study of natural alternatives to control blood pressure has been receiving a lot more attention ... and they're proving to be very effective.

I wrote down all my findings for you ... in plain and simple English. I've laid them out for you in a common-sense manner ... to help you fully understand exactly how lifestyle and diet affect your blood pressure.

With this understanding ... it becomes so much easier to stick to your new health program.

Taking baby steps makes it easy

You're not going to be asked to make any radical changes in your life. You're not going to be making any big changes ... just easy adjustments. Taking one baby step at a time.

Each week, you'll have a simple, easy-to-follow plan. A few targets to adjust your life. Nothing drastic ... just a gentle path to take you to a healthy, happy life.

In fact ... you are going to be pleasantly surprised by some things:

  • You won't have to cut out salt as much as you thought. It's not just too much that's bad? Too little is also bad? In Week 6, you'll discover some interesting things about salt and start using a much healthier kind of salt. (page 103)
  • Yes, you need to get some exercise to keep healthy ... but, you're not going to be forced to drag yourself to some aerobics class. In Week 3, you'll find that keeping your heart healthy can be as easy as a walk in the park. (page 50)
  • In your second week ... you'll discover the secrets of an ancient herb that modern science has just recently proved right. This herb will protect your heart and arteries. (page 38)
  • You'll be cutting down some sugar in Week 5 ... but, you'll also be eating some sweet alternatives. (page 81)
  • You'll be having a good laugh in your last week ... and feeling so good, you'll be smiling all the time. (page 217)
  • In your very first week, you'll meet a vital ingredient for your health. It's everywhere, it costs next to nothing, and it helps your body run better. (page 7)

It's not about changes ... it's about balance

High blood pressure is often thought of as a disease ... but, in reality, it's a symptom. It's a symptom that things are not right inside you. Your body is out of balance.

Your modern-day life puts a great stress on your body. The enormous changes in diet and lifestyle that you have made ... from what your ancestors evolved for ... is too much for your body to handle.

That's the problem with drug therapy ... it addresses only the symptoms ... it does nothing about the problem. Your body is still out of balance. Drugs can't change that.

In the "Get Natural! Drop Your Blood Pressure" program, you won't be making a large, radical change. Instead, you'll be making minor adjustments to a number of things you do and eat ... slowly and simply, over a 12-week period. One step at a time ... you'll be putting your body back into balance - naturally.

I was missing something

Remember, I told you that I had high blood pressure , even though I led an active life and ate a healthy diet?

Well ... although I had a healthy lifestyle and ate healthy foods ... there were a few places where my life was slightly out of whack.

That's all it takes sometimes ... when your body isn't totally in balance, it will react with symptoms ... such as high blood pressure.

I found out how many different factors can affect blood pressure. I was surprised ... and I'm an experienced health researcher.

The body is truly a complex and wonderful machine. The minute I made a few minor adjustments ... my body started running more smoothly, again. Within 2 weeks ... I dropped my blood pressure from 146/88 to 133/80.

And I knew I could do even better.

12 weeks? Isn't that kinda long?

High blood pressure isn't a problem that comes to you overnight. The silent killer sneaks in over years of bad choices in diet and lifestyle. Bad habits build up slowly, over time ... seating themselves firmly in your life.

You can't get rid of old habits that easily ... they don't go away overnight. You need practice and repetition to develop good habits. You need a little time ... to slowly build up a healthier way of living.

Each week, you'll have a few simple targets ... you'll follow them every day ... you'll ingrain them into your lifestyle ... you'll turn them into your new, good habits.

Using the "Get Natural! Drop Your Blood Pressure" program, you can easily and comfortably build your good habits ... habits that will carry you through a healthy old age.
