E-book Title: Faith In Business
Book Description: "Finally, a Book that Helps You Do Right, Feel Right and Be Right in a Business World that Often Rewards Wrong!"
  • The business world is full of people that get ahead by lying, cheating and stealing. How can I compete with that?
  • I'm a good person! Why do good people always seem to finish second?
  • Does God work for the competition or does it just feel like it sometimes?
  • Can I do "right" in business and succeed?
  • Is it possible to be really honest in business and still succeed
  • How do I live out what I know to be right in my every day business life?
  • How do I bring to my business life what I know to be right in my heart?
  • I want to do the right thing and I'm certainly no hypocrite but I can't see how I can avoid having to act differently in my business life than I do at other times and in different places.
  • Don't I have a responsibility to sell myself, my company and my company's products and services? That's what I get paid to do. How do I justify having to withhold certain information from customers at times?
  • My colleagues keep telling me that sometimes you just have to be a little creative with the truth just to avoid commercial sensitivities. Do I have to tell lies in order to do business and be successful?
  • I spend more than 50% of my waking hours doing my job and my boss wants more! How do I tell him that I have other priorities in my life as well?
  • The management in my organization say nice things to each other in public but trash each other in private and they keep wanting me to join in! I feel trapped! I love my job but I hate the politics! What am I supposed to do?
  • My coworker is a great person, so helpful and encouraging, very understanding and motivating. I can't help feeling attracted to him/her. I'm scared things could go further really fast and I'm already married! What do I say? What should I do?

Timeless principles to live a moral life in a business world that may not conform to your high standards.

Sleep peacefully knowing you can sincerely explain to God how you lived and behaved at work!

I am a business professional that wants to do more than just succeed financially. Sure, I want to make money! But I want to do it with integrity. I want people to know I am honest and trustworthy. And I believe that doing the right thing can be good for business too. I am proud of my integrity.
But it's not easy. The business world is full of people that get ahead by lying, cheating and stealing. Sometimes I wonder, "How can I compete with that?"

Can I be good and still succeed?

  • How do I deal with greed, bullying, gossip, lying, office affairs and selfish motives at work?
  • How do I bring to my business life what I know to be right in my heart?
  • How do I avoid becoming a hypocrite because I have to act differently in my business life than I do at home or in my community?

Is it possible to be really honest in business and still make money?

Yes! And this book proves it.

I am an ethical and honest person but how can I get others at work to behave that way as well?

You can! This book will show you how!

I always plan on getting home at a reasonable hour and I try to avoid weekend work but I just have so much to do I never seem to make it...it's OK though, my wife understands.

Wanna bet? You better not count on that if you want your relationship to last! Break the cycle. This book will help you take back control of your time and your life!

Do you really think God is interested in what I'm doing at work?

You better believe it! Every day, in every way and if you want to harness that kind of power in your work life - please, read this book!

This ground-breaking book dives into the difficult questions and provides practical counsel.

Since other books aren't written specifically for business professionals, they can only give you half the picture and leave it up to you to figure out the rest. They present the problems, but can't present the context. Therefore, they never actually explain how YOU can wrestle with the tough spiritual questions in YOUR life.
Given the timeless nature of the man's desire to understand the meaning of life, it's not surprising that there are a number of books that wrestle with the difficult spiritual questions. But few, if any, are written specifically for business professionals. I am a business professional and know how difficult it is to do the right thing in a world where I often feel surrounded by greed and corruption.

  • Why do bad things happen to good people?
  • What happens when you die?
  • Why does God allow bad people to succeed?
It doesn't matter what race or religion you are, these questions are tough to answer. And business professionals have their own version of these questions. People through the ages have asked many similar questions.

About the Author
William Vanderbilt has a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Divinity. He holds a degree in Education and have been teaching youth and adults for most of his life.

William has spent twenty-five years in the business world. He has managed teams of people, hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue each year, and conducted business all over the world.

The titles he has held include Manager, Director, Vice President, Chief Operating

Officer and President. He has held these titles at big companies and

small organizations, in various parts of the United States and across

the world. He understands what it means to have the "buck stop" on

his desk. He has started and operated his own company. He knows what it means to be "in business"

Not all of his business career has been rosy. He has had his share of failures and setbacks. Three times he has suddenly and unexpectedly found himself without a job, but a family to support and a home to maintain.

William has been a Youth Pastor, adult Bible study teacher, lay preacher and church elder. He was raised in a Pentecostal church, married at a Church of Christ, qualified at Methodist and Baptist seminaries and currently a member in the Reformed Church in America.
William is married. His lovely wife, Christine, is an ordained Reverend through the Evangelical Church Alliance and serves as a Chaplain at a Catholic hospital.

William has a unique perspective on issues that affect all business professionals.

Each topic will be explored in detail. This book takes each of these topics and explores:
  • What is the issue?
  • How is this issue evident in business?
  • Chaplain's response
  • Application to business professionals
  • Summary thoughts
  • Personal experiences
  • Additional reading ideas
  • Questions for group discussion, prayer, meditation or further thought

This unique book doesn't shovel out theories and leave you wondering how to apply it to your life
