To put your mind at ease and to reassure you that I'm not just some unqualified guy preaching a gimmicky "fad" diet, you should know that I have a degree in Physical Education and Health, I'm a certified Kinesiologist, a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and the Head Strength and Conditioning/Nutrition Coach for the University of Toronto men's soccer program. I am a highly sought-after, and world-renowned, expert in the fields of weight loss, nutrition, and fitness.

From a Very Young Age...

I have been fascinated by human performance and pushing my body to the limits. My dream was to play professional soccer (a dream that I eventually realized) but during the process of training, playing, working out, and going to school, my health took a turn for the worse.

When I was in my last year of high school, I lost all of my hair to an auto-immune condition called Alopecia. As you can imagine, it was a pretty tough time but I think I did a good job putting things into perspective. After all, there were people all around the world suffering much worse.

Nonetheless, I went to doctor after doctor and saw all the specialists. They all told me the same thing. That they didn't know what caused Alopecia and that they could inject me some cortisone to supposedly help. I declined.

Fast-Forward a Few Years

After having graduated from university, I was now playing professional soccer in France. I was training twice a day and playing 1-2 games per week. My body was breaking down and I was constantly tired. I remember having to take naps every afternoon. That's certainly no way to live!

To boot, my bad childhood asthma and eczema had made a dramatic comeback and I didn't know why. Was I falling apart? I lay upright in bed some nights because even my steroid puffer couldn't help me breathe easier. And, I couldn't stop itching my hands since they were covered in eczema. I felt terrible.

When I look back on those days I can tell exactly what went wrong. You see, all of this stemmed from my childhood where I was fed foods that my body was heavily allergic to. Over time, and as I continued to eat these foods, my body hit its "allergic load". My immune system went hay-wire and started attacking my own body - hence my alopecia.

My asthma and eczema flare-ups were also food-induced. Because the "dead" foods I was eating were literally toxic to my body, they produced inflammation, manifested as a tightening of my airways and skin breakouts.

But Yuri, What Does This Have to Do With Me?

I tell you this story because it has everything to do with you. Although I never struggled with excessive weight, it seems as though my expertise lies in that arena. I've personally helped over 15,092 people lose weight while dramatically improving their health! The thing to remember is that whether we're talking about losing weight, asthma, skin problems, a lack of energy, or auto-immune disorders, the cause is the same!

All Problems Stem From a Western "Dead" Food Diet

You've been raised to believe that our western diet is actually healthy. But you're not alone. We've all been marketed the same messages about foods that actually harm us! Why else would our population be so sick?

Isn't it odd that cancer hospitals never existed before 1904 (the first was the American Oncological Hospital) and that nowadays the American Cancer Society tells us that 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women are at risk of developing cancer in their lifetime!

What has happened in the last 100 years?

Have you ever noticed that wild animals do not suffer from obesity, cancer, or the other disease that now plague humans? These beautiful animals are as nature intended - healthy, fit, and suited for survival. And guess what...that's what nature has intended for you as well.

But what is shocking and downright sad is that when animals are taken from their natural wild habitats, and domesticated, they begin to exhibit the same symptoms and diseases that effect most humans. Have you ever owned a pet that was put down because it suffered from "human" disease? I know many people who have. It's not right. Not for a dog, cat, nor for you and me, either!

I Thought I Had a Healthy Diet Until One Day...

My life changed big time after becoming a holistic nutritionist. I was exposed to information that I never even knew existed. And this is even after graduating from one of the top 25 universities in the world with a Bachelors of Physical Education and Health!

I thought my diet, back when I was playing soccer at the highest level, was healthy. I figured that if I needed energy that I should eat some bread and pasta. After all, that's what all the sport nutrition texts tell us. That's what my teammates were eating. It's no wonder I was always tired. Come to think of it, I can hardly even remember eating fruits and vegetables. How about you?

But when I discovered the secret power of raw foods, I was blown away as if a bomb had just exploded in front of me.

I wondered...why haven't medical doctors and dietitians told us about the dangers of acid-forming and highly allergenic dead foods like wheat, dairy, and animal meat?

The National Dairy Council and the National Association of Wheat Farmers spend millions of dollars each year marketing the fabricated benefits of their respective products. There's huge money on the table for them.

How Dead is Your Diet?

Dead foods are foods that have been cooked. They have lost their highly beneficial enzymes, nutrients, and their life energy. They have been stripped of the majority of their vitamins, minerals, and cancer preventing phytonutrients. It is well known that heat causes unfavourable chemical changes in food. Many naturopathic doctors even state that "cooking food creates a host of compounds that the body is not designed to metabolize."

Think about this...

We are the only creatures on earth who cook their foods - we also exhibit the most disease - while 99.99% of the plant foods on our plant are available in their raw state. In fact, it has been shown that cooking a potato creates over 400 known, unknown, and dangerous compounds!

Eating food that has been cooked above 180 degrees Fahrenheit causes a pathogenic response in the body called leukocytosis whereby the white blood cells (immune cells) are actually used to digest foods much as they would attack foreign substances.

What this means to you is that your body no longer operates as it should when it eats dead foods.

This has been confirmed in hundreds of experiments and by the research of Swiss scientist Paul Kouchakoff. These conditions predispose your body to developing food allergies, sensitivities, and a hyperactive immune system (remember my story!).
