"This MEGA Collection of Unique, Heart-warming Bedtime Stories Is Sure To Make Your Children The Envy Of The Neighborhood" Dear Parent,
If you are looking for a simple way to teach your children positive character traits - traits that will not only make your children the envy of the neighborhood, but will provide a moral framework for your children to grow into adults with purpose - then this may be the most important letter you can read.
You see, I value being proactive in loving my children and teaching my children the same values I grew up with.
But when I take my kids to a movie or watch TV with them, I am often disappointed and frustrated at what I see. I'm always asking myself, what positive message are my kids receiving? And sadly, I often don't have an answer. So that led me to create the Children of Character Storybook - a MEGA collection of unique, heartwarming bedtime stories.
Each story presents a specific character trait through an entertaining story that leaves children with a solid understanding of the trait and how to apply it in their lives.
Many parents like Sue have written in saying they appreciate using bedtime stories as a tool to present positive values and character traits to their children. Studies have shown the more proactive parents are in instilling positive character traits and values in their children in their early years, the more likely they are to grow from children of character into adults that live a life of purpose.
When I was a child I learned the importance of respecting authority, being compassionate, thankful and kind.
But now we are seeing more children end up like our "Hollywood youth". Need I say anymore?
It's our responsibility as parents to take control of our children's future. There's too much out there that erodes the values that will help our children succeed in life, be happy and live a life of purpose.
I knew I had to do something. I couldn't just sit back and let the schools, TV or movies teach my kids so-called values. So one night after the kids went to bed, I started writing them a story.
As I wrote about Chi-Chi the Chipmunk and how the Council of the Owls and their forest friends admired his Humility, I couldn't wait to read the story to my kids the next night - I was also having a lot of fun writing the story too!
The next night I read the story to my kids and wow, they loved it! It made me feel good that I was doing something to instill positive values in them. They actually talked about Chi-Chi the Chipmunk the next day! So I thought, we'll if they liked that story, I'll write them another and another and another.
It got to a point where my kids were eager for the next story.
So I started thinking, well, if my kids love these stories and I can see the difference it is making in our relationship and who they are as children, and if there are other parents out there like me that are frustrated and disappointed with what passes for children's entertainment these days, maybe I should take some of my stories, put them in a collection and make them available as a tool to help other parents raise children of character.
And that's what you have the opportunity to take advantage of today! Now you can experience the joy of reading heart-warming, character-building stories to your children as early as tonight! "While that's just a sample of 3 stories, the entire collection contains 16 wonderful, positive, entertaining stories!" It's amazing how just 5 minutes a night can make such a big difference in shaping who your children are and the adults they will become.
