Okay, I'm not really a fuel mileage genius. But my friends all think I am (and my wife's happy our monthly budget costs a lot less!) Here's why...
I really decided I was going to figure this fuel mileage thing out...so I started studying.
I read my car's manual (a good place to start).
I got some magazines, some books, and started reading a lot of web sites about cars. Here's what I found out...
It's Easier Than You Think!
Turns out getting more miles out of your car is not complicated once you know a few basics.
Some of the reasons are:
- You don't have to spend a lot of money (no engine overhauls, just some simple tweaks to your engine)
- A lot of it depends on how YOU drive your car
- The maintenance to your car you can't do yourself can be done by a professional for cheap
- It's almost impossible to mess your car up
And you don't need to know a lot of technical stuff.
