Get Fit to Golf is a fully automated, point and click on-line program that provides a golf instructor or a golfer with cutting edge computer technology that will assess posture, muscle imbalances and biomechanical problems affecting the golf swing, then automatically generates a doctor certified personalized Chirofit™ exercise program to eliminate the problem areas.
The programs effectiveness has been proven time and time again, the most notable improvement is Nikki Garrett who garnished the title of 2006 European Rookie of the year and credits the Get Fit to Golf program as a major key to her success.
The Get Fit to Golf biomechanical assessment and Chirofit™ program relies on the knowledge and experience of Ron Burke DCDO licensed doctor of chiropractic medicine who has 30 years in the sports medicine industry and over 10 years invested in the development of this program.
Biomechanics is the study of human movement. Using this definition in golf, it is essentially studying how the body moves when swinging a golf club. Biomechanics is the study of what the skeleton, muscles, and nerves of the body do when hitting a golf ball.
At the base of the biomechanics of a body is the alignment of the body. Everything mechanical has an alignment, a car swerves right and left when out of alignment, a motor will not function properly and with constant use will eventually break down - it is no different with the human body. When the body is not aligned properly it hooks and slices, develops different swing faults, performs poorly and over time will eventually break down even with all the little compensatory adjustments you make.
