totally happy with myself. Even though I was now retired as a sales supervisor something was missing in my life.

My wife, who is also retired, and I eventually bought a condo in Florida and we begin to spend the winters there.

We have enjoyed it very much but I guess I just needed another challenge in my life.

It was then that I decided to put more emphasis on building a business on the Internet. That was my real "passion."

for a long time.I finally realized this was the one thing I wanted to accomplish to make an "ideal life" for myself.

Although I had been trying build a business for a few years while still working a full time job it just wasn't happening. There were many

times I wanted to quit but that "burning desire" was still there.

I tried every business on the internet that promised "success", "wealth", "independence" etc; etc; but nothing worked. Month after

month, year after year I tried but no luck. The frustration was building. The diappointments were getting more frequent. The negative

comments from friends and relatives were jabbing at me. But I still "kept the faith." All these comments and challenges just made me

more determined to "hang in there".

Guess What I Found Out?

For one thing I wasn't listening too well. I wasn't studying the Internet too well. All this time I was ttying to sell other peoples products

on a website that wasn't my personalized website. Now maybe it worked for others but it wasn't working for me. Also most of them

didn't teach you the mechanics for marketing the product either. Even if I didn't sell their product they still eaned a monthly fee off me

for using their site. In most cases you couldn't even make a personal contact with them except by email.

Confusion Sets In

For longer than I care to admit. I keep getting this advice on the Internet. Get your "own website." Get your "own product" I guess I

just keep ignoring it thinking I couldn't come up with either. I was getting even more discouraged now. I kept asking myself what kind

of product should I have? How am I going to come up with something that will entice people to buy? Who can give me some ideas

for my own product? How long will it take me to not only come up with my own product but also build my website?I wasn't getting

any answers so I just keep doing what I'd been doing and still getting the same results - which was "nothing."
