Book Description: My training for developing the self-help course started in the 1980s when I received training in hypnosis and, later, Neurolinguistic Programming. I became comfortable working with metaphors and with the subconscious. Later, I got training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and published an article that explained the EMDR process with chaos and learning theory.

I began using the subconscious to direct me to the best treatment intervention to use with my patient's issue. Several patients taught me the subconscious could improve my treatment interventions. In 1993, I received training in Thought Field Therapy. Within a month, a patient's subconscious taught me that it could do the treatment without my involvement.
