And I am a full time mother of 5. I know this full time mom thing is tons of work.

Always having to worry about what your children are doing and not getting anything you need done accomplished.

I was always just peeking around the corner watching them thinking they would be staying busy on their own with out me around.

From a distance I would be watching to make sure they had nothing in their mouths or noses, that they were not climbing all over the furniture,or drawing on the walls, and even if they were watching too much television.

This is when I decided to try some new techniques and stop those dragging days.

Every mother wants to be a great mother. Teaching their child everything they need to know about life and the proper ways to live it.

My mother used to try to educate me 24/7, she never took a break.

Teaching me my ABC's, counting to 10 a million times a day, asking me what color something is, teaching me to say please and thank you, spelling my name, and the most important thing in my mind - potty training me.

Those methods are the methods every mother should know and use now. In my book I'll let you in on some secret techniques that are more than effective ways to teach your child, they are fun too (for the both of you).

My book is for everyone, it is not directed toward a certain type of parent.

As I said before my name is Barb and I have 5 wonderful children.

The first one is a 21 year old male who is married to a beautiful girl and has successfully managed to open his very own internet company.

My next is a 19 year old male who is a full time college student on the path to getting his doctorate.

I also have a 15 year old boy that is a hard worker. He is a sophomore in high school and holds a part time job at McDonalds to save up for his own car.

My youngest son is my 13 year old skater. He is an 8th grader and is working on becoming a pro skateboarder! He is already taking it seriously and going to a skate park everyday after school so that his goal can be reached.

Finally we have my baby girl who is 11 years old and is by far the shyest one of the bunch, but bless her heart she still cheers for her local youth football team.

I love all of my children to death and am very proud of every single one of them. I would like to believe that I had everything to do with that because of the methods I used when they were growing up (the same methods I would like to teach you).

There is no bigger reward in life than to see your children all grown up with the ability to take control and live there lives successfully.
